Zürich already has an amazing diversity of nationalities, languages and viewpoints through its residents, but there is very little intercultural exchange between these citizens. Our photography workshop “Our common Zürich” brings together these different perspectives, generates a discussion and starts developing a new common Zürich, where diversity is embraced and highlighted and new common values are developed. Our event leader, Natalia Sierra Poveda, is a young photographer and filmmaker from Colombia and was the co-creator of our previous Arts-in-Transition’s photography series, where she guided us through an inspiring journey which strengthened both our identity and sense of belonging to Zurich. Natalia empowers and supports all the participants to freely express themselves to start an amazing creative exchange. Join us on this amazing intercultural development process.
During and after the workshop, we will also invite you for an intercultural apéro with music. Please do not hesitate to bring some food or drink that is typical in your origin culture.
The photography workshop is on the 2nd day of our City in Transition Festival (25 September 2019). For the whole program please check the full week Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/903190906740955/?active_tab=about.
